Don’t Stop Believing

It’s that period of the year when Yet another year gone by, with all the ups and downs, COVID-19 and its many variants, it’s good to say thank you, Lord. For Our cover story, we featured Reverend Esther Ajayi, so many things have been written about her, her philanthropy and religion but what stands her out is her humble disposition to humanity. A friend of many leading politicians, kings captains of industries, yet very humble. Her strong, almost forceful personality is disarmingly counterbalanced by her million-watt smile and hearty laugh.

This edition also features a wonderful personality, a multitalented lady, ‘Princess,’ who I met in person and was actually surprised at her level of positive energy. A graduate of Engineering, theatre arts who loves cooking and fighting the cause of abused children, I am sure you will enjoy the interview. Also, in this edition, is the interview with the Osinachi Master, Humblesmith, he needs little introduction. Bringing it full circle, the R&B artiste enumerates his incredible journey from obscurity to stardom as well as how he is building generational wealth through his business empire, his artistic legacy, and remaining steady in the ever-changing arena of R&B. We also serve you good cuisines from Nigeria, these are healthy cuisines that make Lagos tick.

We also featured two greats, Legendary Gani Fawehinmi and Malcolm X – the world we live in needs heroes, the struggle for individual accolades has robbed the world of champions of ideas, the world needs new heroes who fight for the collective and no two people best motivate like our Legends.

Cabo Verde is referred to as the African Caribbean and my visit to the island was beautiful from the small airport to the beautiful beaches and clean streets from one island to the other, it’s a holiday haven. Not forgetting Makoko, our little culture on the Lagoon, I refer to it as a culture because the inhabitants are from different areas, Lagos, Benin Republic, Edo but there is this uniqueness in their way of life, you naturally see that the people flow in one direction, their lifestyle on water is awesome.

And the biggest sports festival in Africa, the AFCON 2022 holds in Cameroon come January 2022 with so many arrays of African football stars on parade.

Each edition of your favorite African lifestyle magazine is carefully designed to inspire you and make the readers embrace the beautiful side of life, and this edition is no exception. As the year 2021 ends, and ushers in 2022, I enjoin you to never stop believing, in spite of whatever the world says, whatever the situation, you can’t and shouldn’t stop believing in your dreams, the world listens to them who won’t stop believing. Shakespeare wrote, “There is a tide in the affairs of men which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune.” If you won’t stop believing and acting it, your success is unstoppable.
